This sweet recipe is made with almonds blended with rose preservatives along with few ingredients to enhance the taste and texture. Taste delicious and yum.

Ingredients
  • Almond Powdered - 2 Cups
  • Granulated Sugar - 2 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Pink color ( Liquid) - 2 drops
  • Gulkand - 2 tsp
  • Milk powder- 3 Thsp
  • Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Garnish:
  • Almonds sliced
  • Pistachio chopped
  • Edible Rose Petals
Directions
  • Step 1 To prepare almond powder soak almonds in warm water overnight next morning peel the skin allow to dry completely for few hours.
  • Step 2 Then take a blender powder the almonds.
  • Step 3 I prepared the almond powder one day prior before making this Burfi.
  • Step 4 Take a wide nonstick pan add granulated sugar 2 cups then add water 1/2 cup allow it to boil in medium flame keep stirring at regular intervals to get one string consistency takes about approximately 10 minutes in low flame.
  • Step 5 Next step add almond powder, milk powder keep stirring vigorously in medium flame for 5 minutes.
  • Step 6 Meanwhile grease a baking pan with ghee keep aside.
  • Step 7 After 5 minutes add pink liquid color ( I used baking color ) mix well finally add cardamom powder, Gulkand keep stirring until the mixture gets to thick consistency leaves the pan immediately drop the mixture on the greased tray .
  • Step 8 Take a flat spatula press the almond Burfi uniformly then add sliced almonds, pistachios and edible rose petals allow to cool for 20 minutes then cut in desired shapes keep refrigerated.
  • Step 9 Note : Sugar Syrup shouldn’t be more than one string consistency.
